Trailblazer magic and iterative atacks

Product Discussion

so I recently put my hands on that trailblazer book and the rules for caster level progression and iterative atacks got my attention. does anybody here have experience with those rules and could share some info before i throw then at my players? thanks.

I've never had the chance to see the caster level progression in action (mostly because we play gestalt so there is no need), but we've long since abandoned PF/3.x iteriative attacks in favor of Trailblazer's system. Cut's down on wasted dice rolling at higher levels and just generally seems to speed things up.

the only change we've made to it, is allowing iterative attacks with Standard actions, to keep melee fighters powerful at higher levels.
seems to work well for us.

Only think I remember is caster level adds to every class (by a formula) so multiclassing wasn't as bad.

the combat reactions mechanic seens to make combat much more interesting. anyone used it?
