In it you will see Calous Jack's paper minis, some official Reaper minis, some Fat Dragon Games cardstock buildings, some Dave Graffam's buildings, some Armorcast stuff, some homemade stuff, some painted minis, some unpainted minis, and some prepainted minis, including a river by Pegasus Hobbies. Whew!

What do you think?

Pretty awesome, sir! I'm jealous. I'm going to assume that it went over incredibly well (how could it not?) and that a good time was had by all.

How long did it take you to make?

And play?

Grand Lodge

Very nice. Im going to share these with my gaming group. We just finished the fort last session.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Our group only meets about once every 6-8 weeks due to families, jobs and distance (2 of the 6 of us drive 2-3 hours one way, and I drive about half that to DM), so when we play, it's an all-day, all-night affair. They started this session ready to hit the fort, and they "cleared" it after around 8-9 hours of play. Unfortunately, I grew a little weary and forgot to take pics of Jaagrath (paper mini), Hookmaw (paper mini, the metal one is sitting on my craft table at home with 3 colors on him!) and Dorella (a Reaper mini conversion I'm kinda proud of).

It took me several months to make the cardstock buildings, but that's mainly because my wife and I just had a second child. It's a LOT easier to build papercraft buildings in the spare minutes you have between feedings, diaper changes and other "emergencies" that kids have every 10 minutes. I was able to do a cardstock building or a section of wall in an evening, or several if left alone on a weekend. Unfortunately, it's a lot harder to find time to paint minis, thus Calous Jack to the rescue! I've had the ogre metal minis for almost 18 months and I STILL didn't get them finished in time. I'd better start work on Big K now if I expect to ever field him. I have a lot more generic village buildings I've been working on for the first part of book 4, but I'm nowhere near being ready to have a full 3D Sandpoint. Maybe just the setpiece battle areas.

Oh, I also have to give credit to two of our players for custom building that table. It's 4'X 8' with a 1" grid drawn on removable plexiglass and 8 slide-out drawers underneath the tabletop. One player also paints some PC minis, and my wife actually did the lion's share of work on the ogres seen here.

Great table, it must've been a helluva session.

Kudos for an awe-inspiring setup.

Beautifully done. Bravo!

Honestly, I would drive 2 or 3 hours one way if that level of gamer love was waiting for me. Truly inspirational work.

Liberty's Edge

Not being the cut and paste cardboard type, I borrowed some of my kids' mega blocks for the big event tonight. I may post much lamer pictures soon...

Sovereign Court

I just saw this post, that's fantastic work! Great job, TW!

The Exchange

As one of Twowolves' players, I have to say this session with the models was freakin' awesome. He kicked us out of the bonus room while he set the table up, once all arrived and we did some planning and preliminaries to get our game plan together, went up to see what all the fuss was about....and WOW! Made us want to attack the front door instead of being smart about it...

Liberty's Edge

My PCs had a couple of assaults through the tunnels so they didn't make it outside until last night's game. Here's my duplo-castle with dead ogres aplenty.

Liberty's Edge

very nice!

We got together again last night, and here are some pics of the rescue mission in Turtleback Ferry and the driving off of the Black Magga:

Turtleback Ferry vs Black Magga

The druid wildshaped into a behemoth hippo, and as luck would have it, I had my son's (nearly to scale) toy hippo in the car! The heroes secured a couple of rafts/boats and the druid towed them from rooftop to rooftop rounding up citizens. Until the Black Magga arrived....
