Hello folks,
I'm creating character for a kingmaker campaign. The character is a male human paladin from northern Brevoy. He has the traits Issian (ie: from northern brevoy) and Bully (which makes sense for the a character from northern brevoy, and creates a paladin that can defuse a situation quickly without resorting to violence). I've chosen the first name of Alexander because that name apparently sounds the same in pretty much all of the European languages, and I kind of like it. What I'm trying to figure out is the rest of his name, and possibly the names/occupations of his parents. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
My opinion is in the spoiler tag, as well as why I'm so open to suggestions.
So bring on the suggestions, folks!

have you tried using the everchanging book of names if its still out.
it had a thing iirc for international names.
since unless one if from that side of the world, one might not know a russian name
yokay didnt see one for russian

I usually use the Onamastikon for foreign names, and for Brevoy, I was partial to Slavic/Polish sounding names.
My criteria for a name;
1) I can pronounce it
2) It sounds at least somewhat 'cool' to my ear
3) It means something cool in the native language
Not every name I pick meets that last criteria.
Note that accuracy isn't on the list. If two Norse word-elements that sound awesome or thematic to me, like 'blood-eagle' or 'lightning-spear' sound acceptable to my ear, I don't care if no actual Viking would have ever strung those name-elements together, or would have put them together differently, or whatever, 'cause I'm not making a historically accurate Viking, I'm just making a name that sounds cool, and trying to avoid ever again stringing together name elements and ending up with a name that the first time I say it aloud at the game table, sounds very much like 'Syphilis, the Elf...'
For my Brevic Summoner, who believes himself to be a lost scion of vanished House Rorgavia, and has an Eidolon in the form of an immature red dragon, I picked Servayn Krolczyn (and then shortened it to Krolz), which, not even a little bit accurately, came out to 'burning serpent' and 'son of kings.'
When I'm in a hurry and don't want to come up with a name that also has a cool meaning, I go to the CIA World Factbook and pick the coolest sounding name from the various members of a relevant nation's current government.
This does have it's drawbacks. Now that people know who he is, I probably gonna have to rename my gnome illusionist, Hosni Mubarak. :)
