Tooth Paste: How much is too much?

I think a well of toothpaste would be too much. How about a pea sized drop on the toothbrush instead?

How would he know how much you were using?

He had all his patients brush their teeth at his office. And he'd have us demonstrate how much we used, how we brushed, etc, so that they could then tell us how to do it correctly.
