Running Silent Tide as my first game back in the summer of 2008, where I met both baron arem heshvaun and yoda8myhead.
Meeting all the great folks at the Neutral Nights meetup in NYC, proving that if you have the will, you can play PFS ANYWHERE, including in sweltering delis, around midnight in front of FAO Schwarz, and in public greenspaces.
Not managing to kill everyone in Dralkard Manor.
Almost killing my first level 7+ PC on the deck of the King Xeros.
A clever PC talking his way out of a combat encounter with a powerful xorn at the Eternal Obilisk (boy, was he glad he took Terran!)
The combat that would not end while tracking down the sorcerer at the end of "Our Lady of Silver".
Running eight slots at GenCon 2009 and experiencing my first PFS-GM burnout.
Continuing my table of the GenCon 2009 PFS Special on the lawn across from the convention center when the fire alarm went off.
Starting my own PFS group in Portland when I moved here in August 2010.
Getting to run my conversion of Mists of Mwangi and my first adventure (Dalsine Affair).
Finally taking part in my first ever PFS game as a player at PaizoCon 2011 (with Feral judging) and naturally ... being killed, by a harpy no less!
Woohoo! After three years of running PFS (first in NYC, now in PDX) I've finally managed to finagle my third GM-star. If you'll indulge me, I'd like to take a look back, and get a bit nostalgic.
Here are some of my highlights:
All in all, it's been a great three years. I honestly have to credit PFS for getting me back into actually playing D&D/Pathfinder again after years of only reading books. Thanks to everyone who's played with me, you've given me some wonderful memories.
