V&G Chymic Works - how to get to second floor (E7 / E8 etc)?

Another Map question.

Can anybody tell me how to get to E5/E6/E7 etc?

I understand that the ground level in the Vats leats down to the basement lvl. But I do not see anywhere stairs or something up to the rooms of the bad guys.
The only Entrance is in the courtyard through door of the loading bay? the loading bay has a crane in it but I do not see stairs or a ladder?

Also how does V&G get to the Vats lvl ? It says the would go there to draw the PCs to fight but it seems to be one floor above? Also as the vats stretch also under those rooms.

Note that the book says, "The door from area E1 opens onto a narrow stone platform 15 feet above the floor".
It seem that when you enter E4 you are on the same level height wise as E5, E7, and E8. It is mapped seperately because the map on the right(with E5 e7 and 38) is overlapping the map to the left. The only logical reason I can think of to risk the acrobatics checks to walk across the planks(and therefore the vats) is to get to the ledge of the map on the left.

Also not that E5 has a crane which is used to hoist things from E1 meaning E5 is above E1. That means while the map is showing a door between E1 to E4 there has to be some elevation, and it is not just a door.

In short E1, E2 and E3 are ground level.
When you enter E4 from E1 you are already 15 feet up. You must get across the planks to get to the ledge to gain access to E5, e7, and e8. The book just does not break it down well.

yet I think when you enter E1 you are on the ground level. It goes 15 feet down from there to the floor which is then 1 level down. you are not on the same lvl like E5/6/7.
On ground lvl you practically walk in and are at the top of the vats and can walk along the them.

I think if you want to get up there you need to climb or jump to the balcony and grab the ledge in front of E5/6/7. You can also see that on the first lvl the area E1 into E4 is shaded.

well I will also place a Ladder leading up to the loading doof of E5 from the courtyard.

It's not really evident on the map, but the text does explain there is a ladder leading up to the top floor inside. Having just ran it tonight, here is what we did:

- There are 3 'levels'. The main floor which the PCs arrive at via the front door (15 ft to the ground, 20 ft to the ceiling). The cellar floor is the bottommost one. The second floor is where V and G's rooms are.

- There are 3 ladders shown in the first map. The one next to the PCs leads to the cellar floor. The north-most one also goes to the cellar floor. The one on the south-middle of the room extends from the cellar floor to the second floor (it lines up very well with the catwalk up there).
