Hi all,
As the title says, is there anything out there other than Yahoo or Google groups. Google is just about useless now and Yahoo doesn't always work the way we want it.
Are there other alternatives or should we just bite the bullet and host our own webspace for out group. If that is our only option, what does everyone recommend?

Epiwords. Free if you only need one campaign.
There are also a bunch of free forum sites where you can change the layout and design as you prefer. I've used Freeforums.org quite a bit.

I use to believe that Obsidian Portal was the best...until they revamped the site with their Kickstarter funding. Now the site sucks starting with the color choices. Most intelligent people know that you can't read light colored text on light colored backgrounds and dark colored text on dark colored backgrounds. Whoever designed the revamped site has to be blind because that's exactly what they did. Despite constant complaints from many users since the unveiling they have done nothing about it. If you want to send game date reminders it shows how many days from the game date but if it's a two digit number it only shows the first number. There's more. Bottom line, I've had enough of them taking my money and not making changes of reported problems. As soon as I find a site that works for me I'm jumping ship. I'm just glad I didn't do the Kickstarter.
