ORDER # 1749868 - UPS exception

Dear Paizo, I know this is not your fault by our package was due to arrive today and I just recieved a tracking update from UPS that its stuck in Illinois.

However, we did pay $13.00 in shipping and my husband is going to be super disappointed that after waiting a week for his shipment to arrive, it isn't going to make it by the weekend.

Exception Reason: DISRUPTION IN AIR OR GROUND SYSTEM OCCURRED

Please let me know if there is anything you can do. I will try to console my husband with the PDF copies but he's old school and he looks forward to recieving his pathfinder books all month. Maybe he can actually spend some time working on his game for sunday night instead. :) By the way, we love having pathfinder on fantasy grounds!!

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do on this end to speed the progress of your package, once we turn it over to be shipped it is out of our hands.


Thanks Megan. I will personally call UPS. I actually work in Logistics, so I know that Paizo, as the shipper, is actually in a better position to resolve this than i am. From looking at the tracking, there has been no scans since Wednesday. If UPS gives me the run around, I may ask my friends at UPS (I think my national account rep will help me out) if they can help.

If I can't resolve from my end, I will let you know. If UPS has lost the shipment, then Paizo as the shipper, is entitled to a refund of the shipping expense and the value of the goods. I cannot initiate that type of claim because Paizo is the UPS account holder. But i will try to resolve on my own first.

I had this happen one time when there was flooding in Illinois. The UPS trucks were shut down for safety reasons and my package arrived about a day late.
