I've been contemplating rolling the Vital Strike Mechanics into the mechanics for gaining additional iterative attacks, the idea being that people will move around more in combat and it won't be as penalizing.
Has anybody done this, who has some practical exp on the matter?
Any other feats/abilities you give out for free? I'm especially interested if it results in people doing more cool stuff in combat, or makes sub par fighting styles that may be interesting be better mechanically, (though not better than thf, I dont want to raise the bar over where it is already).
I've been giving everyone acrobatic charge(Duelist at level 6) since 3.5e. I did it in 3.0 as well, but without realizing it. They wanted to charge over obstacles, I made them roll skill checks to jump tumble balance etc. lol.
