Suspending a subscription for one issue

How do I go about suspending my subscription for the rules so that I miss out the beginners box as this is not something that would interest me.

You have to cancel your subscription then restart it is the only way to do it unless they introduce a new method.

Thenorthman is correct, suspension only delays a subscription shipment, to skip something you need to cancel.

Just swinging by to confirm the others are correct. Subscriptions are on-going so in order to not receive an item, you'll need to cancel. Once canceled you can restart at any time you wish by subscribing again on the website.
