Damiel's backpack

I started putting this mini together tonight, and the backpack has two triangular projections coming off the sides. They look like the could be sprues or molding artifacts, but when I put the backpack on the mini body, it looks like they might be meant to be straps. Does anyone who has put this mini together have any input on how they treated these things?

I haven't seen the model in person myself, so I'm not sure, but I found this blog which if you scroll down you will see a good photo of the backside of the Damiel miniature. Maybe it will help you figure out how it's supposed to go on.

If still in doubt, I would post your questions to the Reaper forum.

Thanks! That is actually very helpful, and shows that the flanges are indeed supposed to represent the backpack's straps.

Heh, I didn't even attach the backpack, the minis are busy enough as it is. :) Plus, I'm using it for an NPC, so I didn't feel the need to show his backpack... and that means I have a backpack left over for scenery. :)

Thanks Sean, he will have a strange lump on his back if you dont use it though, but that is easily taken care of with a bit of filing.

Aye, i fancy doing some current orcs but have some commissions to get out the way so i can afford to start them! :)

Plus I have been bitten by the Pathfinder bug! still new to RPGs in general so very clunky and awkward with the in character stuff, but im getting there!

He's an alchemist. Any "strange lumps" are just budding tentacles or other third limbs.

I LOST my backpack :(

It was frustrating too, because the alchemist in our group actually HAS a backpack supposedly bulging with 'stuff'... Got done with the mini, went to grab the backpack... Just GONE!!

VERY disappointed :(

Had a LOT of fun painting that guy...
