Hide Shirt

I am just curious as to why the hide shirt is not allowed for play. It's just the same as the chain shirt in terms of game mechanics, except that the ac penalty is one point worse.

Oddly enough. Hide shirt is in two different modules, the hide shirt is only banned in one of them.

It's in two different Player's Guides for two different Adventure Paths. The one which is legal is keeping with the intended flavor. The one which is not allowed is a Med. Armor, the one that is allowed is Light.
