It's only ironic if I didn't know that. My comment applies to the thread as a whole. The only reason Doodlebug was quoted in my post was to reply to his apparently very sheltered understanding of visual stimulation.

I'm guessing from your response that he's got a bit of a reputation (I've only somewhat recently joined these boards), but I would say anyone who is unaware of hentai (which is the most generous interpretation of his incredulity toward the idea of provocative "cartoons" that I can think of) would qualify as "sheltered" to some degree.
