I forget.
On Topic: I cannot confirm or deny my interest in making a statement towards the inclusion or exclusion of any content that could be considered epic or mythic in any shape or fashion.

It's kind of silly anyway. I know a lot of gamers that love that high level stuff, just not my group. I bet it would sell. I'd probably even get it just for the fun of writing up deities or whatever.
That's the thing though. No one is going to put a gun to your head an make you buy it so who cares if Paizo makes it? I think they should write it if it will make them money.

if you don't look at this discussion, it can't harm you
this thread is a mindf***
it is pointless, however by its pointlessnes it shows that the other two threads are also pointless, and thus this one has a point.
if you try to follow this logic your mind will be trapped in limbo and you won't have time to write any new cool books that will empty my pockets and fill my mind.

Well, if someone doesn’t care either way if there is an epic book, then they just don’t respond to either of the two other threads, do they?
No reason to make this one just to see who doesn’t care.
The Gods of Satire demand this thread!
I also believe that voting ballots should include a None of the Above option.

But what if we don't want to vote for none of the above?

I could have made a thread for those who do nto care one way or the other. Yet what would be the point. If I'm interested in seeing interest in a product I want to see who does and does not want the product. You can better guage the level of interest. How exactly is one supposed to do that for those who do not care one way or the other.

You could have also made a single thread where people vote for or against.
Of course, that would have degenerated to back-and-forth bickering between 2-6 posters. But then, that is the fate of the two threads you made as well. It is, in fact, the fate of ALL threads. Therefore, make one thread, and in the OP try as hard as you can to phrase things constructively. That way, you at least delay the inevitable.
For the record, this is my favorite of the threads on this topic so far!

I get what you are saying and yes I could have created a thread to allow both. Yet as you mention it might degenerate inot bickering between more than one poster. And you know what I'm in no mood for that. I'm probably not the only one that feels that way. Having a thread you create go downhill becuase some posters are unable to behave themselves while hiding behind free speech is not fun and just plain sucks. This forum is already cluttered up enough with "your wrong and I'm right" type of threads. I see no reason to add to it.

Oh, that's just because you hate epic level play. Admit it. Search your feelings! You know it to be true! ... Join me, and together, we can rule epic play as ... err ... sorry.
:)
And I do not bicker! Take that back, you!

It's all grist for the troll-mill, my friend. Don't sweat it.
At the end of the day, Paizo will do what they think best and all the forum opinion threads in the world might not even influence that. The forums are not the market.
