Product suggestion: Player Companion book holder

Pathfinder Player Companion

I have been subscribed to the player's companion since Adventurer's Armory. So I have many small books at this point. It would be really cool if there was a product I could buy which would hold all of those books (and protect them when thrown in the gaming bag).

Similar concept could be applied to adventure paths, campaign setting books, etc.

All of the soft covers fit nicely into large size comic book bags, but I agree it would be nice to have an 'official' case of some sort. The shelf can get kind of messy with so many loose volumes.

Companion and Module lines would benefit the most, since they lack a printed title on the side of the book.

Good idea! I looked to see if there was anything like that already, and here's something that might work in the meantime: a clear acrylic magazine holder. But really, something with at least a strap that snaps to hold the books in would be better for transporting in a bag like you do, and it seems a bit on the wide side too. It would help with shelving them, at least.

I got a couple Lihit Lab folders as a Japanese stationer in my area. I generally use them for character sheets, but the hold Companion books quite neatly and likewise the map folios.

I looked up the company and their English translation of the appropriate web page which of course does not translate perfectly, but the gist is there.

I wish that Paizo could do a large order of these, particularly in the clear model, since the markup at the fancy stationer is more than I want to pay for the couple I wanted for my characters.

The clear ones also work as good protectors for the older non-laminated map cards, since you can write on them without any trouble and wipe off since the folders are clear acrylic.

What you want is something like this. It's a large binder that has twelve removable rods. You slip the magazine or book in so that the rod lies along the page fold (where you can see the staples), and it holds it in place while still being readable. Libraries use them to store monthly magazines a year at a time.

They would be perfect for storing Pathfinder Companions and similar sized staple-bound books.

That is an excellent solution.

Not sure if it's what you are looking for, but magazine size comic book boxes with Mylar sleeves and backing boards works very well for protection. I would also recommend the "removable" from of scotch tape to seal the flap.
