Animals and Magic items, any official rulings for PFS?

Pathfinder Society

Has there been any official rulings on what exact magical slots exist for animals both animal companions and regular purchased animals in PFS? I haven't been able to find it if it exists but it has come up in our PFS game and i would like to know. Thanks!

I think it's a situation where in they can't really give a general rule for all animals because there are so many different body types. Generally, quadruped mammals (horses, dogs, cats, lions, all of those guys) Should have an amulet slot, one for barding, and a modified boot slot. (I think there's a line in the equipment costs description for non-humanoids and unusual sizes.) I could even see a bracer spot being the front paws and a boot slot being the back. Gloves would generally be inappropriate here though.

In any case, animals don't naturally use manfactured weapons or wear armour like this. I'd reccommend that you make it a feat to open up any slots other than the amulet slot.

Hope that helps.
