Will you be running the game or just playing in it?
If you'll be running it, you get to decide the attribute generation for the players.
If you'll be playing, your GM should be making that decision for you.

Thank you for the link! I will be GMing it. I just wanted to make sure that there was not a 1 particular stat method that I should use to make sure characters remain in-line with what the adventure expects from them.
Nope, your choice. If you've got six players, 15 pt-buy might be cool, but if you've got four ish, I'd go with 20 (or 25, if I was feeling generous, which, generally, I am).
If your players like random dice, you can also let them roll 4d6 and drop the lowest for their stats, or any of a dozen other variations.
Point-buy is just artificially 'fair,' so that nobody ends up with lucky rolls that overshadow others, and nobody is stuck with terrible rolls that detract from their fun.
Some love rolling the dice, some hate it. You might even mix it up, if everyone at the table is fine with that.

The standard for Paizo APs is 4 characters, 15 pt. build. That said, a 20 pt. build doesn't make that big a difference and shouldn't present a problem for game balance. Higher than that starts to raise issues, particularly if the party optimizes.
Take a look at the iconics in the back of the AP. If the characters created end up at about that power level, you're in the ballpark.
