Unrest for a destroyed building

Is there any unrest for a building being destroyed? I could have sworn there was a point per building destroyed but am I imagining that?

Also...

KM Players Stay Out:

I've had the Owlbear trash my PC's capital in my PbP. Would it be reasonable to allow the PC's to rebuild the buildings at 75% cost instead of paying for the whole thing over again? Plenty of ruins are made into buildings at half cost in the campaign. Thoughts?

From JBE's "Book of the River Nations, A Complete Player's Reference for Kingdom Building"

Destroyed Blocks: If an event destroys one or more blocks, the devastation causes +1 Unrest per destroyed block. The cost to rebuild the block is halved if the replacement building is the same type of structure as the one that preceded the destruction.

So *that* is what Karina came running to tell the group. You are a mean, evil man Alexander

A block is one of the big squares right? Could be 4 houses for example. Is that an optional rule introduced in the book or summary of existing rules?

Same as existing rule, in Rivers Run Red, page 57, bottom right hand corner.

Liberty's Edge

"The city grid consists of 36 city blocks, each arranged
into nine larger squares."
.

So, a block is a small square.

Many thanks guys. I actually had the book handy but in my tired state yesterday I failed to find what I needed.

On a related note, a house gives you -1 unrest when it's built. Does it give you +1 unrest if the players choose to clear it away to make space for something else? Ditto for other unrest-decreasing buildings.
