So, I'm a Paizocon Noob and I did all of my arrangements at the last minute. I'm not signed up for any events, so I thought maybe I should bring my own:

I'm going to be running an unofficial Pathfinder event this year at Gen Con: "Into the Pit of Thud!" It's a 5-hour Dungeon crawl for 5-7 pre-gen characters, pulled from "The Tomb of Haggemoth", a D20 campaign I wrote a few years back. I figured it would be fun to try running it at Paizocon. Gathering some materials, I've put everything I think I'll need in my trusty miniatures case and I'll be bringing it along.

All I need is a table and some people to sit around it. I know there's going to be space for open gaming, but I thought I'd throw open a thread here to see if there's anyone with suggestions on a When, Where, or with Who.

I'm going to need something to fill the "banquet" slot; if you do it then I'm open to jumping in.

A buddy of mine is bringing a few PFS adventures to run (to fill the grand melee slot and the banquet slot in addition to some late Thursday night adventuring if we can fill it.) depending on the timing we'd be interested in a good ole dungeon crawl. I am getting in late Thursday. If you like drop your contact info at chowdmouse2@gmail.com or you can leave a note at the front desk for M. Murphy.

Thud? Any relation to the Prachett book/game?

Exactly how late-night are you envisioning? '-)

How about running it during banquet time on Saturday? You have three potential players right here. Should be enough time.

@Gembar - Waltero will be in earlier Thursday and at the meet and greet until 9 PM which is about when I get to the hotel. So my guestimate is 9:30ish but possibly later depending. In any case I'll be hanging out at the bar shortly aftern I get to the hotel. Look for the guy in the shirt that has an alligator wearing a crown (the alligator not me :))

I'll be arriving early Thursday afternoon. I couldn't get a room at the hotel, but I'm staying at the Marriott just a couple of blocks away.

During the Banquet sounds like a good time to do it, at least once. I'd be up for running it more than once during the weekend depending on how things shake out.

I'm planning on attending the Meet & Eat Thursday night, but maybe afterward? Don't know how late it will go.

best way to reach me is email.

Okay - it looks like I may have scored some banquet tickets after all! So I'll have to just wander around with my box at some other point during the weekend and try to pick up some suitably random players. :)

Doh! I hate to see good gaming torpedoed by the banquet. :) Anyway, we may be able to still work it out. See you around the con.

Well, nothing's for certain at the moment, and I ;likely won't know for sure until I get there.

Suffice to say, however, that at some point I'll probably be wandering around with a signs that says "Adventurers Wanted!"
