Morning Walk for Gamer Health

Good day Everyone,

As many of my Facebook and Twitter followers know, I have been working hard all year to lose weight and I'm not going to stop exercising during the convention. I plan on going for a 10-15 walk every morning. I would like to invite anyone interested to join me.

Meet me in the lobby of the Coast Bellevue Hotel on Friday-Sunday, 45 minutes before the dealer's room opens and join me for a brisk 15 minute walk. If you want to jog or run that is ok, but I would like to invite all gamers, whether you exercise regularly or not, to join me in my adventure to better health.

I really hope to see you there.

I don't really want to commit to this, because of the late nights that tend to happen at these things, but that sounds like a good idea at the very least.

I'll be there Dale! I think that means 7:15 a.m., maybe 8:15 a.m. on Friday. I'll try to drag out some of my roommates as well.

Last I heard, the dealer's room opens at 8am on Friday and 9 am Sat and Sun. So that'll be 7:15am and 8:15 respectively.

Dale - want to commend you for getting this going. I likely won't make it (as I'm not staying at the hotel since I live local) - but wanted to suggest a couple interesting things nearby as "destinations" for your walk. I know it's always more interesting that way.

Probably the easiest would be to loop around Lake Bellevue and back. Can probably do that in 15 or so. Go left out of the hotel, turn east on 8th, then 118th over to Lake Bellevue.

If you turn right out of the hotel and take 116th south up the hill, you should get a good view of Seattle. Near there is Willburton Park Hill, which has the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. Obviously, you might not be able to make it up, through the gardens, and back in 15 minutes. :-) :-)

Here's a map of the area around the hotel, you should be able to see both of these on the map.

MAP!

Cheers!
Pete

Good point. In that case, lets say 7:15 everyday.
