"A schoolboy is on course for a £250,000 windfall after inventing a doorbell that fools burglars into believing somebody is home at an empty property."

I hope he blows some of his money on a badass car. I'm thinking Aston Martin.

Eh, the burglars may realize it rings to a cell phone and not an intercom, but they'll also realize that all sort of people will find it convenient to be able to answer the door with their cell phone while they're still home. I'm a Californian and I want one of these so I can answer the doorbell when I'm out by the pool rather than not hearing or running through the house in a wet bathing suit.
Smart kid and a useful invention.
