Out of curiosity, has anyone used non-paizo classes in their adventure path? How did you write them into the campaign? What were your experience with them? I was looking at Psionics Unleashed and thinking of allowing those classes into any future APs I run. Has anyone used the psionic material?
On the same note, what about non-update classes from Wotc products like the warlock, binder, etc.

I played a Psionic Warrior with the flavor being that it was his ancestors guiding him and his actions on his quest. I played up the visual/audio/smell components (he was a dwarf) as ghostly dwarven chants, spectral dwarven warriors around him (thats what his armor looked like typically), the smell of freshly oiled platemail, etc.

I played a spell-less ranger from Kobold Quarterly 11 in Council of Thieves as a kind of extended playtest and it went fine - no problems at all.
Honestly, as long as tge class is well written and balanced (which the classes in Drwamscarred's Psionics book certainly are) you should have issues using one in an AP

I've been allowing alternate classes from third party supplements for a while now and some work, some don't - seems to depend as much on the player as the class in question.
In my Second Darkness campaign we had a Warlord & a Priest (Tome of Secrets). in Kingmaker we had a Godling (Super Genius Games) and a Warlock. And in my current Carrion Crown game we have a Death Mage (again, SGG), and a Noble (Freeport Companion).
Almost all of these characters (except for the ones in the Carrion Crown game, but it's early yet) died at some point or another, usually near the end of the first or second adventures. My experience implies that many of the 3rd party classes are a little weaker than the Pathfinder-Paizo classes. It's certainly true most of them don't have good capstone abilities at 20th level.
I'm very happy to be able to provide options for my players, but it does sometimes mean they don't have many of the more basic roles covered (such as in Carrion Crown, where they're taking on the Haunting of Harrowstone with neither a Cleric nor a Rogue - ie. no spam Positive Energy, no Disable Device). They're experienced players for the most part though, so it's not unusual for them to take the RP over practicality route and not suffer too badly for it.
