I've been trying to get a RotRL game off the ground, but because of life events, my previous recruitment has been insufficient (See thread: http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/community/gaming/connection/lookingFor OnlinePathfinderGroup&page=1#49 ). Any player from that thread is welcome here, you just have to post "I'm still in" or the like and you're ok. Ninjapirateassassin, you're already in.
The regularly scheduled time for this is 6-12 midnight CST on sundays. Next sunday (memorial day weekend) is busy for me, so everything should get going the first sunday of June, on the fifth. We use skype to communicate, and TTopRPG to actually play the games (or, if sufficient player demand, maptools).
So, for the new players: I'm looking for a group of 3-6 (preferably 4-5), and older players do get priority. Character creation is as follows:
-20 Point buy
-Your character must have a Varisian or Sandpoint regional trait
-anything from Core, APG or ultimate magic is allowed by default (I can still say otherwise if someone tries to break the system)
-Playtest classes and things fom other supplements are allowed, just make sure you tell me
-You may only take 2rd party or 3.5 things may only be taken with my pewrmission.
-Your backstory must contain a good reason as to why you are coming to Sandpoint. No "I was just walking by the area" BS.

Where could one find Sandpoint or Varisian regional traits?
Rise of the Runelords player's guide PDF (free download from Paizo Here) has some that were originally feats, There is a pretty common conversion to traits on the forums Here.
There are also a couple in the srd. Mostly they exist to give your character a specific reason to be at Sandpoint, the starting town for RotRL.
I've got a friend who would like to play, in some healing character capacity (Paladin or Cleric, mostlike) so I'll help him get his sheet up sometime this week.

I am somewhat interested. Really looking to flesh out the Varisian aspect of an existing character getting slammed by my GM. Thinking of a human bard. Being West Coast, time works out almost perfect for when my European husband is abed.

You tasked me with finding another player, though sadly some of the usual people I was going to check with have turned out to be more busy than I thought. I'll be checking with a few more people, but amongst the folks I know to directly talk to about this sort of thing... I'm not sure if I'll get anyone to join in.
Thus, I may just be bringing myself along, playing a Sorcerer. I believe you said NinjaPirateAssassin is still in? If so, that would give us two and we'd just need a few more? I'm open to thoughts on this, because I'm not certain I can directly bring in anyone else by my own direct invitation; most of my friends aren't up for it.
