Last year I went to a certain event, and enjoyed it immensely. I'd like to enter its sequel this year, but I'm wondering if this would be regarded as 'hogging' the game. What're the social rules on this sort of thing?

I would think that a sequel would be considered a different game, and thus not regard it as "hogging" it at all.

I've run a couple of sequel events at other cons, and have thought it pretty awesome when players who were in the first one are then in the second one.

Dude--go for it! Think of it as "legacy," not "hogging." Half the fun is in playing on from the year before!!
