We've been suffering from some system fatigue of late, so for a change of pace, we decided to convert our Pathfinder characters for the ongoing RotRL game to 4th Edition analogues and use Scott Betts' conversion material to run through Thistletop. An awesome time was had by all, and we intend to keep with 4E through the end of Skinsaw Murders, at which point we will probably convert back to PF (we're round-robining each of the six books, and the other GMs are more comfortable working with the PF ruleset for the time being).
Excellent work, sir. I much enjoyed thrashing my players with Warchief Ripnugget. =]

Haha, I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it so far. I think your timeline is a pretty solid idea - not to spoil anything in case you're one of the players, but there's a fight in The Skinsaw Murders that is downright notorious for reliably killing entire parties in 3.5/Pathfinder. Playing through that bit in 4e ought to give the players a fighting chance.
Also, man do I need to get on top of updating this stuff. Can't the world just stop releasing fantastic video games for a couple months so that I can be productive in my free time?

I'm running Skinsaw in PF for another group that includes the GM who is running it in 4E, in which I'll be a player. So, one cool thing about switching systems is that there should still be some surprises for me.
(I assume you mean the Wanton of Nature's Pagan Forms, incidentally - frankly the body count in my PF Skinsaw game has been so low thus far that I'm kind of hoping for a lethal outcome just to give those players a healthy dose of mortality awareness.)

Yeah, where do you get off having a life and stuff? Don't you know what's REALLY important, sir?! =]

Follow-up: They hit the crypt last night.
The wraiths MURDERED them.
Of course, only the warlock was smart enough to figure out that they couldn't follow the PCs out. The other three stood their ground and fought bravely. And died horribly.
Hahaha the Monster Vault versions of the wraith and mad wraith are pretty brutal I guess!
You remembered to bring back the three slain PCs as wraith figments, right? >_>

I used the MM1 versions, actually - need to compare them with the MV stats. I actually switched the mad wraith over to a standard one about a round into the fight when I realized that it was supposed to be dealing ONGOING necrotic damage each round, which would definitely have killed them faster.
No figments this time, sadly - but they'll be waiting when the next group returns. I figure Nualia will probably use the bodies as warm-up offerings to Lamashtu in preparation for the big ritual with Father Tobyn's remains. The warlock teleported out of the dungeon after the combat by traveling directly upward to level two and making a run for it - I had Nualia and Tsuto walk in on him, having been alerted by all the commotion.
Also, the PCs managed to unlock the pillar of coins before bumbling into the crypt - so it looks like Nualia and Tsuto might have a few extra tricks up their sleeves when the next group of suckers heads back into the sublevels. >=D
