Listening. Good.
Seems to be a Heavy Rain-ish story revolving around a cop and a serial killer. Maybe. Still listening.
Apparently there's a comic book and a series of short films to go along with the album.
My friends say really good things about this one, but I'm getting a little burnt out on female fronted gothic stuff right now(that and Delain is so good!), I think I'll probably wait a couple of months, then pick it up. I didn't know it was a concept album, that's good to know.
I've downloaded parts of this, I still need to get the rest. I've been enjoying what I have gotten though (particularly Where is the Edge and Faster). Also enjoy Delain, but I really want the next Nightwish album to get done :)

If you get the full version, the deluxe version is worth it. <3 The Last Dance.
There's kind of an 80's vibe running through the whole album, in a good way. It really stands out in Faster and Sinead, I think.
And after a few listens and watching the video for Faster(but not the full short film: Mother Maiden), I think I've got the basic plotline figured out.
I should probably just watch the film...
Just bought Delain's first album because of you guys. :) And also eager to see what Nightwish's next offering is, vocally fractured fanbase aside.

Good deal! Their first one is more raw, and it also has 3 different female singers (Liv from Leaves Eyes, Sharon from Within Temptation, and Charlotte), and of course, Marco from Nightwish. The second one is more polished, and also has Marco, only Charlotte as the female vox (she does just fine for me though).
I'm also looking forward to the new Nightwish, I hope they can keep the ball rolling!
