Next week I am planning to run a PFS game at my local gaming store, Toy CIty, in Keene NH, One of the GMs had to step down and stop running his game, and there was a GM vacume. luckily I had “the third riddle” lurking on the back seat of my car, so I was able to produce some pre-gens, and I ran everyone through that. They had fun and have expressed interest in my running another module next Saturday night.
Over the week the players are going to be making their characters. I expect some will have their characters done. One might have a four page back story, and a couple of other s will say “ what were we doing again?” and ill have to help them make a couple of characters.
The players have played Pathfinder before, just not PFS.
What would be a good introductory scenario with some role playing and some combat?
thanks

Here is a write up on some starting selection modules. Mists might be a little bit of a grind (more combat less role play) but you might find that #00-04 Frozen Fingers of Midnight might strike a better balance you are looking for.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I would use either frozen fingers of midnight or citadel of flame, but i know that one of the players showing up has played those scenarios, so i think i will run 06 black waters.
Thanks
Just something to watch out for: Citadel of flames can be deadly at level 1 if

Thank you all for your excellent suggestions. one of my friends who will be there has played Pathfinder and PFS before.
He has played, the silent tide, Murder on the silken caravan, the frozen fingers of midnight, Mists of the Mwangi, the prince of Augustana, and the citadel of flame.
I noticed Black waters wasn't on his list, so i thought i would run that one. Again thank you for your suggestions.
