Eric Mona's article "Opening Moves" on the Pathfinder Society, way back in Pathfinder #1, refered to volumes 23 and 56 of the Pathfinder Chronicles. In "Seekers of Secrets" these have been renumbered as volumes 13 and 36. Has there ever been an offical answer as to which is correct?

Also, Chronicle 23 (or 13!) refers to the temple of Xanthuun but then switches to the Gold Phoenix Aviary without explanation. Is that another name for the temple, a name for a part of the temple complex, or a different site entirely?

There is a reference to the Forbidden Jungle in Chronicle 1. It appears to be the Mwangi Jungle, but has this ever been confirmed?

There's a bit of deliberate misinformation out there about the older Pathfinder Chronicles—some of them are very rare, some are all but lost, all of them have a lot of rumors and misleading stuff. That said, the information in Pathfinder #1 in this case is 99% likely to be the more accurate... although not always, since some of the stuff in Pathfinder #1 is things we've deliberately left behind.

The temple of Xanthuun and the Gold Phonenix Aviary are different sites.

The Forbidden Jungle is an antiquated name for the jungle in central Garund, which extends quite a way to the south of the current map edge and includes all sorts of jungles as part of its overall expanse. It's basically another (but rarely used these days) name for the Mwangi Expanse.
