Scarab Sages

Kaidan is a land of Oriental horror based on the folktales and myths of Japan and compatible with the Pathfinder Roleplaying game. As I have mentioned a couple of times (or three or four) on these forums, Rite Publishing and Cubicle 7 will be releasing three Kaidan modules this year, with the first one coming in June.

I'll be running four Kaidan events (two scenarios twice) at Origins this year. They are...

The Frozen Wind: You are a traveler in the mountains, seeking shelter from the dangers of snow and ice in a warm and inviting monastery. Yet, even as you rest, dark forces are at work and you will need all your courage if you are to survive the frozen wind. The Frozen Wind is an adventure set in the land of Kaidan, a new Japanese-based fantasy setting from Rite Publishing compatible with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. No experience is necessary and pregenerated characters will be provided.

The Tolling of Tears: The monks of Kinogasa claim their great bronze bell is haunted and refuse to ring it. You have been tasked with cleansing it of its taint before the New Year. But ghosts and spirits abound! Which one is to blame? The Tolling of Tears is an adventure set in the land of Kaidan, a new Japanese-based fantasy setting from Rite Publishing compatible with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. No experience is necessary and pregenerated characters will be provided.

For those interested, I'll save you the trouble of finding the event numbers in the event schedule. They are as follows.

#6023 The Tolling of Tears (Wed 1 pm)
#6251 The Frozen Wind (Thu 6 pm)
#6531 The Frozen Wind (Friday 6 pm)
#6592 The Tolling of Tears (Sat 8 am).

All events are 4 hours.

Checking today, the Thursday slot looks to already be fully booked. There's a couple more openings yet for the other times.
