Is it possible to get some sort of extra protection for my orders, especially my Companion books?
I live in the north east, and we get a fair amount of rain. A few times my books have gotten wet though thankfully they haven't been damaged all that much.

Our shipping process is largely automated and it isn't feasible for us to pick out a particular person's order for special attention like this.
That being said, I would suggest talking to your mail carrier or your local post office about not leaving your packages/envelopes in the rain. Usually if one or two packages are damaged, its s fluke, but if you see a consistent pattern of wet packages that discussing with your carrier doesn't resolve, you may need to consider changing shipping methods.
