Heh, that was easy. I rolled out a little bit of greenstuff, then twisted it--held one end and gently spun the other end, making sure not to squeeze it very hard. That's what creates the almost-spiral texture on the tentacle (it's spun so many times that you can't see that it actually spirals around and around, it just looks like circular rings).

Brilliant. Now, on a smaller scale: tiefling horns, here I come!
