Delivery cost function?

Customer Service

Due to some unfortunate events I am able to get books from a retailer here in Australia.
Also Walrus and Carpenter are less than great suppliers.
But I can not do something that I would like to see.
How much delivery cost would be.
If there was some sort of function to show me how or someone could walk me through the steps so I could see how much it would be without making a purchase I would be very grateful.
I just don’t want to be spending twice as much just for delivery, I am afraid as good as your books are a double there normal prices it hits my budget a little too hard.

Thank you for your time.

Just go through the process of making the order but just don't hit "place Order" at the ned of the process.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work when you try to do something like the "combine with existing orders" function. It's basically a crap shoot to see whether adding a single item is going to go in under the current weight/shipping charges, add a small but reasonable amount of shipping, or go berserk and add an insane amount of shipping/handling.

Admittedly things can later be messed up if an item is delayed at the printers and ships later, but it would be nice if there were some "if these shadows remain unchanged" style divinatory price calculator so you could figure out if certain purchases were going to break the shipping camel's back and it would be better to postpone them to future orders.

Amazon's "Order over $50, get free shipping" deal makes it much easier for sanity.

Hmm that is slightly disheartening.
I hoped to go through pazio but such is life.
I may still I would prefer to wear some cost if it gets me everything I want and builds up a company I like.
Thank you very much for your time.

You still haven't got an official answer yet. It's the weekend.

Not that an answer would change but it might.

thenorthman is correct—shipping varies based on the contents of your order, the exact destination, and the shipping method you choose. You will be given a precise quote after you provide your shipping address, but before you need to provide payment information.

You're confusing a lot of things here, I think... First of all, there's absolutely no guesswork when it comes to simple orders like Caladors is asking about. The price we provide during checkout is the price we'll charge when we ship your item.

Second, when you choose to ship a new order with a pending non-subscription order, we *also* provide an exact quote.

It *is* true that if you want to combine a new order with an upcoming *subscription* shipment, we only provide an estimate, because the contents of that subscription shipment are subject to change, but we *do* actually provide exactly the kind of best-guess estimate you're asking for, and communicate it as such.

Thank you for everyones time.
