Gestalt Campaign

I just started GMing a campaign that is gestalt, as per the variant rules from Unearthed Arcana.

I'm gestalting monsters together, and I was hoping for some ideas of gestalted monsters of various CRs above 9, so far I have a gestalt Vampire/Mhorg and gestalt Ice Golems/Ice Elementals.

The campaign is split into 4 major parts, and right now, the major focus is on undead, another part will focus on Infernal/Diabolical gestalts. I still need quite a few monsters to flesh out the world, as well as a focus for the other 2 parts. Anyone have any ideas?

Interesting concept. I've never thought about using gestalt to fuse two monsters together (I always used class levels on one side).

Are you going for pure power, or for monsters that fit well together (or both)?

Going for both, but the main goal is to get something interesting out of the mix.

Have you thought of gestaulting monsters with class levels? Not sure how that would or wouldnt work but it would definately be more flexible then other kinds of monsters.
