I’m playing a human witch with 20 intelligence. What languages would be best for me to pick for this campaign?
I was hoping there would be some clue to that in the players guide but I didn’t see any reference to language.
Well- based on the Inner Sea Guide, the logical (not necessarily the best choices by crunch, but definitely for fluff) ones are:
Common (Taldane) (free)
Varisian (native language of largest ethnic group)
Skald (second largest native group)
and for the campaign, based on what we know:
Aklo (Lovecraftian)
Necril (Undead language)
+? maybe Orc (Belkzen is nearby)

Orc is called out as one of the recommended PC choices and that the locals have some degree of contact with them. I would bump that above Necril as far as appropriateness (as most undead that can speak tend to speak the language they did in life, rather than that one).
I don't see Thassalon being a part of the campaign. At all.
Given how you'll have to travel through/near a couple forests, I wouldn't consider Sylvan to be completely unreasonable.
And from a backstory/fluff point of view: the plot-hook-person was a Wizard, and "Draconic" is understood to be the language of magic, so if you're from a far-away culture, you might have used that as a common tongue.
At a stretch, Celestial might make sense for someone that has a lot of interactions with nearby Lastwall, or otherwise is interested in the words that presumedly are used to bind Tar-Baphon to the land.
But really, "Varisian" jumps out as the only "must have."
