I'm sure this question has come up before...
That said, I was just skimming the archives for CotCT, and I noticed that one of the authors of the last module ("Crown of Fangs") posted a bunch of stuff that got cut from the final version because of space limits. I really appreciated this, and I was just wondering if (1) this happens often, and (2) if so, whether anyone (not necessarily Paizo) has tried to collect these in a single page.
Thanks,
Doug M.

It doesn't happen often. Partially because we've gotten a LOT better at policing our authors so that they don't grossly overwrite for their assignments. And also because a web enhancement only really saves time for us in the printing department. Printing happens out of house, so we really don't have much to do with that... but everything else (layout, editing, writing, development, design, cartography, artwork) for a web enhancement uses up the same amount of resources on our side of things as print products. Which means that we don't do them that often, since we generally try to focus our resources on the print products.

Couldn't it just be put on a pdf(no art), and put it the free download section? Most of us just want to mine the ideas, and the material is already written so nobody is taking time to write anything that could have gone to another project.
Sure... but even creating PDFs of raw text take time, and removing art elements doesn't lessen the work load on the developers or editors at all. And furthermore, we don't like releasing ANY product, PDF or Print, that doesn't live up to the graphic design standards we've set for ourselves.
If you're just looking for words and idea mines in excess of our actual products, the blog is the best place to go. Particularly on Design Tuesday and Golarion Thursday.

I would at least like to see players versions of maps as web enhancements with the numbers and secret doors and such scrubbed off. Like back in the Dungeon days.

That's been a pretty constant request. We can't do it. It's too complicated, believe it or not. Mostly because maps are already the most complicated aspect of preparing an adventure in the first place.
