Liberty's Edge

Ferelden Needs Heroes.

The son of Arl Grannern of West Hill, Ser Nicholas Granners, has been summoned to Denerim. However, the youth is known for his penchant to go off the beaten trail, and Arl Grannern fears for his son's safety despite the general security of the North Road. He calls for adventurers willing to act as escort for the young man.

Yep. I thought I would try to get another Dragon Age PBP going.

I'm a bit interested, but I have never played the Dragon Age Rpg. I'd like to try it though. Are their any requirements for recruitment?

I'll go for this as well; been a while since I looked at the AGE ruleset itself, so it can't hurt to have a bit of a fun with it.

Definitely interested myself, so yeah, what are the details?

Liberty's Edge

As for Character Generation, I thought I might try using a different method for the ability scores, but if you don't yet have the AGE system and would like some more information, I can e-mail you some basics. I was thinking of using a dice pool instead of a flat 3d6 for each ability score. I know it makes the game less gritty-realistic, but I hope that it will make the game more enjoyable to have above average scores in most of the character primary abilities.

Other than that, there are no requirements other than a willingness to work together and put up with a nonstandard adventure master such as myself.

All races and classes allowed, and background information appreciated. The game will take place mostly in Ferelden proper, so Dalish Elves or other barbaric cultures will likely be at a social disadvantage, but still playable should it be desired.

Since we have enough people interested here, I'll go ahead and set up a discussion board for character creation and other questions about the Campaign.

I actually had been tossing around in my head the idea of trying to run something with the AGE system and am in the process of re-reading the rules.

I'd be very interested in being a part of this, though tomorrow is my in-person tabletop day so I don't think I'll have a chance to get a character whipped up til monday morning.
