The Forest Phoniex: Starts out as a small bird with bright green leaves in place of the wing feathers. Spews one acid attack at one enemy. The next dawn after that attack, it grows and the leaves on its wings turn a dark green. It can then launch one lighting attack. Again at dawn after that attack, it grows again and the leaves turn orange. The forest Phoniex then gets a fire attack at which time it turns to ash and a white egg appears. After a full day inside the egg, it can be used as a greanade like weapon, after which it is once again in the form of the smallest bird.
Crocallganger: A tucan with the head of a crocadille appears on the branch. Flying to the ground, its body changes to that of a snake, but the head remains. It slithers over the river and the body becomes that of a fish, but again, the head remains a crocadille.
These were two of the most imaginitive familiars that I have ever seen. I am trying to come up with something on par with them for a campaign. It is for a 6th level gnome sor with arcane bloodline.
