this year my friends and I will be celebrating the liberation of serfs in Russia, and I would like to invite you all to join us in celebrating the end of serfdom in Russia.

Why are we celebrating that, because, we need a random holiday for February, January we Celebrated Randolf Scott's Birthday (look him up awesome guy) and Next month we are Celebrating Hitler's Death and the end of WWII. March will be the Ides of March unless we can find something better.

Which brings me to my next point, as my friends and I will do this every month all year, so we could use some help with finding Random things to Celebrate.

I dont think I can celebrate Anyones death, not even an Antimulticulturalist like Hitler.

Hitlers death isn't next month..it was 30th April.

it more of the end of the war that will be celebrating

I know it was a typo. I meant to say the ides of march and then Hitler

February 11, 1919: HP Sauce first introduced to Australia.

"H.P. The New Sauce from England. HP has a new and delicious flavour, different - quite different - from any sauce you've tasted before. HP is rich - thick - fruity, and can be taken up with the meat just like mustard."

Randolph Scott?! Ran-do-olph Scooooott!

Being of Czech descent, I can think of a good, month-long+ one for later in the year:

The Velvet Revolution (Czech: sametová revoluce) or Gentle Revolution (Slovak: nežná revolúcia) (November 17 – December 29, 1989) was a non-violent revolution in Czechoslovakia that saw the overthrow of the communist government.

That seems both random and worthy, and ought to kill a good chunk of time for you.

Of course, this is February, which means there are also other things worth celebrating. Valentine's, Washington, Lincoln.
