Midwives tend to be associated with home birth here. Is home birthing legal in Germany?we just came back from info evening at birth clinic, we where a bit early, most women where 6. ot 7. month
I got a brochure "Becoming a Father - I'm In ! "
we got a ton of paperwork forms for registration at clininc and baby registration and took a look at the labor room.next step is finding a midwife for preperation seminars and mandatory after birth coaching
it is legal but unusual,
there are midwives working in the clinics together with doctors and midwives do seminars, involution workouts and mandatory visist at home (I think 3 visit over the first 2 month) and give a helping hand and open ear to all the problems and questions of the new parents

Copy machine broke while I was using it. The one day I have to use it, it malfunctions. Normally I don't even touch the thing, don't have any reason to, I don't normally work with any documentation that needs to be physically copied (putting stuff into digital format, on the other hand, is the verbatim description of my job - I'm a data entry clerk).
Lesson learned: anything that takes me away from my desk to work is bad.
I knew this already but reinforcement is... well not nice but useful.

Thankfully no, this printer apparently has had similar troubles in the past and all I got was "We're going to have to call the repair guy AGAIN".

A huge Blue-whites-supporter, and also "front man" in the Angels Eskilstuna, by the name of Fredrik Rosander, was feeling troubled since his parents didn't quite want to reconcile themselves with the notion that Freddie would journey the 500 kilometers one-way to watch IFK Göteborg... again.
Through social media he then asked Glenn Hysén if Glenn couldn't make a call to his old man and simply persuade him that it too was a good idea to go to Malmö. Glenn Hysén picks up the phone and dials the number to Freddie's dad. After a confused start to the dialogue between Freddie's old man and Glenn it stands clear to papa Rosander that it's one of Sweden's greatest football players of all time that he's got at the other end of the call.
"Yea, it was Glenn here. Why can't the boyo go to Malmö and watch the Blue-Whites?! Oh, yes..? He can do it now? Well, okay then. Have it good!"

Actually when I met Mikaze we were talking about everyone thinking he was a woman, and he mentioned you not being a drow, and I said "nope he is a black man, mostly seen with panties on his head". ;)Had a great time at GenCon. Went out to dinner with both Taig and his daughter, and Tordek and his family. I caught a bunch of Paizo seminars and found out about a bunch of cool stuff that Paizo is working on especially Numeria. I meet Thursty, Mikaze, Wyvern, The Jade, Lou, Kilrex, and more. We went to the Ennies on Friday night, just to check it out. Talked to Wolfgang Baur, Brandon Hodge, Neil Spicer, and of course PMG and SM. Wyvern and I ended up going with Brandon to the PFS Special after so we saw the madness that was that room. Then we headed to Scotty's and ended up following Brandon, Erik Mona, and Mark Moreland into the Paizo after party, which was a bit awkward (like are we supposed to be here?). Adam waved us in and we ended up drinking and chatting with the Paizo guys into the morning.AWESOME!!!!!

*shudders* Getting pulled in to sub in woodshop class. Not recommended for people with bad hand-eye coordination. (It's kinda frustrating to be a teacher if you can't actually teach the kids what they're supposed to be learning.)
