I've been wanting to get in on a Pathfinder community for a while now since i got into Pathfinder, but i never expected to find a community like this! This is awesome! So yea...new guy here :P guess you could say i'm a "DM in training". My group of players out here really seem to enjoy what i create so i've kinda gotten into a trend :). Anyways, not to sure if anyone will respond to this post just wanted to get my introduction out of the way so people know about me :). Feel free to shoot me a post though! I'm very interested in getting integrated into this community with ideas, creations, rules, hope to chat with all of you soon! :)

Welcome to the boards. What's your favorite aspect(s) of the Pathfinder Role Playing Game so far?

Scarab Sages

Hey thanks for responding! Well i've had a lot of comments from my players about how they really enjoy how i focus on the rolls of the game rather than basing it off of the roleplaying ability. Coming from a D&D setting myself i'd say that i really enjoy how Pathfinder has simplified the rule set for rolling to make it understandable to all players, rather than the D&D setting where you really have to be in on the curve. There are probably more but like i mentioned before i'm "in training" :P Heck even most of the rules i'm still dusty on, spending a lot of my time brushing up on the rules just to make sure i don't mess it up during gameplay :)

Welcome to the boards! It is a great community. Oh and don't be distressed by the lack of posts so far in this thread. With the site down for several hours it was very quiet. The welcoming hordes will come soon enough. Post away.

Scarab Sages

Awesome more postings! :P Thanks for the welcome guys, still paging through the plethora of threads on the site, there is definitely a lot going on here. :) Anyways i'm glad to be getting some positive feed back from you guys...so random question for those of you who decide to post on here:

What do you feel would be the best thing to keep close to memory while playing Pathfinder? Whether you be a player or DM.

Talk to all of you soon! :D

Having fun.

Scarab Sages

Of course! :) I totally agree with that...there have been many times when the players and myself as a DM have spent 20 to 30 minutes laughing hysterically about certain events that happen. Not because of the "comedy" but because you always have that one players that likes to be the comedian, lol.

Welcome to the boards, Barurt! This is probably thew craziest community you could find in RPGing. Folks here are generally a cool, well-behaved lot, who love their game endlessly. Oh, and you will see all the folks from paizo posting at these boards from time to time as well - that is one of the special qualities of paizo: they are all very approachable.

Liliths advice is on spot - have fun is the most important rule in the game. As long as everyone at the game table is having fun, it is all right. Now, you can´t please everyone all the time, but if everybody leaves the game table in the evening and says, well, that was worth my while, everything is fine.
