My campaign is at the beginning of Chapter Four.
One of my players has been playing a priest of Wee Jas.
With the suggestion of the Hardcover that some sort of "underground" movement could be started in the temple, drawing the player character in, I have gotten the PC together with Calmus Vel to have a talk.
But what should be revealed at this point? I can see this sort of thing bringing the game to a complete halt as the group swings their focus on just cleaning out the temple right away. The temple of Wee Jas has a strict heirarchy, meaning that this meeting between two low ranking members is a BIG DEAL, but how far to take it at this point?
Suggestions?

I wouldn't take it far at all. I'd have this underground movement concerned with Embril's absence, the costs of the new construction, the increasing influence of Ike Iverson, etc. This can foreshadow Chapter 7.
But I'd have the NPCs involved suggest a course of action of building alliances with the other powers in town: Churches of St. Cuthbert and Kord, the noble families, Maavu and the ever-helpful Lord Vhalantru. "In this way, something may be done during our High Priestess's absence without COMPLETELY ignoring the social order of our fair city..."
This might guide the PCs characters that are important in the current and subsequent Chapters:
Nobility and Vhalantru in Chapter 4
Maavu and Tercival in Chapter 5
[Who the hell knows] in Chapter 6
Then they're ready for Chapter 7. If they've played it well and built some relationships, perhaps they get hints, tip offs or aid during the first part of Chapter 7, especially event 30 and the "Death and Magic" section.
