Anyone Doing A Song of ice and Fire?

Just wondering if someone was running a campaign set in Westeros independent of the system used (preferred the A Song of Ice and Fire from green ronin), or maybe we could come up with one.

I actually have that book...

I have it too and it's a really nice book, tho I might do something to make it d20 system instead. I do remember there was a d20 version of it.

My friend has the Game of Thrones, which is the d20 version. From what I got to read of it, it was a lot like D&D, but with little differences i.e. System shock and Armor was damage reduction driven. Never got to play it though, he couldn't come up with a campaign.

I don't remember which one I have. It's very thick and full of beautiful art. Really impressive stuff. Certainly a role-play centric game.

I think that may have been the problem with my friend not coming up with a campaign, a lot of my friends are more action oriented roleplayers.

I've read and listened to podcasts of people doing 'Burning Wheel' for this type of setting.

Yes it is very hard to come up with something since for a d20 for example using Pathfinder rules and stuff:

1.- You can only be human.
2.- No magical classes allowed (Cleric, Bard, Summoner, Wizard, Sorcerer, Inquisitor, etc...)
3.- You all better be skill monkeys because you will be tested in regular combat and social (intrigues).

I've seen some one run it with d10 some bunch of conversion with exalted rules but run as mortals only (not that many dice thank god).

Edit: I could try running a game of this just not sure if d6 or d20

Well I might be able to come with something if there are players and willing to go with a new PbP DM
