I just want to be sure about something before going further with art hunting.
Would it cause trouble for any artists that have or are doing work for Paizo if they were commissioned to do art for use in a fan-made work made under the Community License? I don't want to trip any of these artists or complicate work for them, is all.
Just trying to make this thing look as good and "Pathfinder" as possible.

I certainly wouldn't think there is any problem with this. Artists are freelance and can work with whomever they like for the most part. Most in fact work with many different companies (I know I've done illustrations for a number of different third party companies from Super Genius Games to Raging Swan to Kobold Quarterly etc).
I guess the only possible issue might be specifically the fact that you are using the Community Use License ...
Here's a question though. Under the Community Use License, you can't charge for the product or make any kind of profit. So, are you offering to pay these potential artists for their work or are you hoping they will donate for free?

Gah, Community Use Policy, sorry. :)
I'm paying, as much as I can when I can at least. I know it's pretty much losing money, but it's a product I've always wanted and I'm pretty sure(or at least hope!) others do as well, but it's something the Paizo devs have said they don't have any real interest in or doesn't fit into the campaign setting as they see it. So, just doing what I can myself. :)
And thanks for the weighing in! Feel a bit better about it now.
