New Material for a Homebrew Game

I'm running a homebrew game once biweekly that could be best described as 'a parody of everything that has ever existed or will ever exist,' filled to the brim with stupid references to whatever appears to be funny, with preference given to silly pop humor references and bad jokes.

I realized earlier today that I had not yet statted 'Nintendium,' the most durable substance known to man unless you put it through the wash. I am trying to come up with a good HP/Hardness mixture for the stuff, as well as what the costs would be to make an armor or weapon of it, and if it has any qualities. What I have thus far is below:

Nintendium
HP: 10/inch of thickness
Hardness: 30
Weight: 1/4th original
Properties: Weapons forged from Nintendium suffer a -2 on all damage rolls. If an item made of Nintendium is fully immersed in water, it is considered Broken until it is repaired or fully dries.

Pricing has always been my weak point, so I'm looking to figure out what would be an appropriate way to cost the material, and to see if there's any properties which I may have left out.

Because Nintendium is literally superstrong plastic, and plastic weapons tend not to hit as hard as steel. Kind of like trying to beat your opponent to death with a wiimote.

If it is lighter = easier to control and less momentum = better attack bonus and less damage. So +1 attack and -2 damage.

Make sure to make it weak to fire and electricity damage as well. Any child handling an item made of Nintendium has a 5% cumulative chance of destroying the item per round. And a tech support tinker gnome is required to remove the broken condition.

And for pricing, since it has an insane toughness and low hit points, I would make it worth the same as adamantine. Much harder to sunder, but weak once the hardness is overcome...


Since armor class/attack roll dynamics in PF consider part of the difficulty of hitting a dude as penetrating the armor, this nintendo material's -2 to damage is appropriate, but also consider a -2 to hit. price it as 1/2 normal gp price for items (plastic poured into molds is easy), and maybe half the armor bonus to AC.
