Anyone have an idea where to get a neat tankard IRL?

I would like to be able to really raise a tankard in salute IRL during gaming. Any idea where I can get one, and not spending a fortune.

I also don't want some cheesy plastic dragon bone white trashy looking thing. The more realistic the better.

Any suggestions.

Any RenFaire/SCA event has a good chance of having a tankard. You can also do a search on Etsy for "tankard" and see what comes up.

Quick caveat emptor note: Pewter will create a "sweat" on the outside of your mug and give an off-flavor to your drink.
