Goblins and foxes

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Do goblins view foxes as dogs? I really wonder if they would kill them. I wonder if they view them like wolves or if they think of them as entirely different. I know this is a simple question.

Well, the response to foxes may vary from goblin tribe to goblin tribe. I'd say that, being as foxes are further from dogs than are wolves, goblins would mostly understand the difference.

Since Goblins ride Worges(monster wolves) and hate dogs as dogs attack goblins... and foxes simply shy away from creatures in general as they have super high senses and tend to hide from any predators...

Goblins would tend to view foxes a lot differently than predatory dogs and wolves. Since a fox won't attack a goblin unless cornered. Dogs will hunt them, and a wolf pack will if necessary.

I'd say no they are not seen as dogs.

Wouldn't stop Goblins capturing and torturing a poor fox if they could though...

Goblins would NOT count foxes as dogs.

"Dogs" pretty much means "canines domesticated and used by humans."

There you go. Straight from the horse's (t-rexes?) mouth.
