This thread is for the Capital Region Pathfinder group. We are currently about 1 members strong and growing and run scenarios once a month at the Schenectady Wargamers Association’s Game-a-thons. As things continue we are looking to expand this to include games in Albany, Saratoga and possible even up into Glens Falls. Anyone interested is free to sign up for a game on our Warhorn site, contact me through email or Facebook, post on this thread or just show up at the next Game-a-thon. I’ll be updating this thread with the dates of the Game-a-thons as well as any other events we will run.

Running 4 tables this friday (Feb 12th) Hope to see you there!

There will be two tables in the afternoon session, from 11AM to 4PM and two tables in the evening session from 5PM to 10PM. Evan is the die hard GM running a table at each session and I'll running one table in the evening session. We have another GM for the other table in the morning, who's name escapes me at the moment. Blasted memory!
At the Lodge site on Warhorn, we have 7 people signed up between the two tables (not counting GMs), so there is plenty of room. Even if an additional 8 show up, the other GM and I have alternate scenarios prepare in case we want to expand to a third table.
If you have a hankering for other gaming opportinities, the SWA Game-a-thon has plenty of other board and miniature games available in both sessions. Also, the SWA is hosting their second Annual Northeast Titan Tournament over the entire weekend. Friday to Sunday.

WOW!
We had a great turnout this past Game-a-thon, 3 tables in the first slot and they two full tables the second! We're still looking for more people though especialy those who would be willing to GM since there were only three of us to start with and now we are losing one.
Other big news.... I will be running a once a month PFS at Foam Brain Games in Troy. Right now we are planning on doing the last Sunday of the month but that might change depending on demand and GM availability.
Finnaly my next goal is to start a once a month PFS up in Glens Falls NY so if anyone is interested or knows someone who might be interseted let us know.

More big news from Upstate NY!
We are now running games in South Glens Falls at Coopers Cave Games and Paintball. I stopped by there this past weekend and they have a pretty nice selection of Pathfinder merch and a great room for gaming so if you are in the area check them out. The first PFS game is scheduled for April 3rd and I'm looking to make the run PFS there first Sunday of each month.
Second news is we are adding two new GMs to this month's Game-a-thon! I want to thank Seth and Zack for stepping up and helping out. We have Warhorn updated with the new events and would appreciate people signing up ahead of time.
Our first event at Foam Brain went well. We didn't have a great turn out and only one new gamer made it but I'm still very hopeful for next month. I'll be posting flyers at the store and trying to drum up more players as we get closer the end of the month.
That about does it for now, if anyone has any questions or comments please let me know. Also I will be compiling a list of local Game stores and gaming events in the area so we can further spread PFS so if you know of any that are even remotely close to Albany let me know.

Thanks for the links. I already have a man talking to George @ ZP about PFS and we are hopeing to get something going there in the summer or at least once classes are over. As far as Grimfoe I've been talkeing to Pete there and we are having our first PFS event on the 16th of April during there open game night.

if you can't make that the weekend after I'll be up at Coopers Cave Games and Paintball on Sunday the 3rd from 12-4 running PFS. The Saturday after that is Game-a-thon! As I mentioned above the 16th I'll be bringing PFS to Grimfoe Games in East Greenbush. And Finaly we'll close out April back at Foam Brain Games one the 23rd.
Thats rigt we have Pathfinder going on every weekend!
