Hello. I am currently planning the Pathfinder Society slots for Mega Convention in Orlando, Florida. It is being held on March 24-27th.
I am trying to come up with a way to promote more players coming to the convention, and besides the idea that the Gaming Head coordinator (Dominick Trascritti) that we would run the Interactive Module, on Saturday, I wanted to get a module not yet released (set to be released on March 30th, which is where you see my dilemma) into play.
I'm wondering who I could possibly talk to about getting this module (PFS 2-17, Shades of Ice- Part II: Exiles of Winter) 5 days early (Friday the 25th) so I can run it at MegaConvention. I've seen an exodus of people heading from 4e to PFS around the Central Florida area and I want to help out as much as I can.
Thanks
Zachare Sylvestre

Sometimes, for major cons, the GM's will get a copy of "new release" mods a couple of days in advance (from the coordinator) so they can prepare. But I'm not aware of any being actually run prior to the official release date. In any case, you need to send an email request to Hyrum and Mark.
Having the "special" is definitely a good add. Also, check with your local Venture Captain or find a 4/5 star GM that can run the "secret" mod. There is a high demand for it at cons my my region. Aside from that, make sure you post your convention on any web board you can find as well as post fliers in bookstores and gaming stores. If you have any local High Schools or Universities, you might be able to post fliers there as well. Finally, don't forget to post details in the PFS Grand Lodge board.

Yup, the other stuff is in progress. I will be posting in the PFS Grand Lodge soon, but I'm really hoping that I can get a module that has not been played (at all), to promote it. There was a module last year that no one played before, and it was very popular.
I'm just trying to give the Southeast US a little love. Sadly, PaizoCon and GenCon is too far for 80% of the Central Florida audience. I know a lot of players in FL want to get into PF, but it's hard with no "major" con available.
