No Lovecraft?

Planet Stories®

Jon Brazer Enterprises

My GF and I were discussing Lovecraft and we both realized that neither of us actually owned any of his books. I figured I'd order one from Paizo, with as much as the Paizo crew are famous for their Lovecraftian Love, Planet Stories has to have a story or two of his. But to my surprise, there are none. So I was just wondering ... are there going to be any?

Thanks.

I think one of the goals with Planet Stories is to expose classic and out of print sci-fi and fantasy authors to a new audience.

H.P. Lovecraft is still in print.

Same reason there aren't any of REH's Conan stories published by Planet Stories.

Yeah, all of Lovecraft's stuff is in print. You can get all of it (mostly) in a big omnibus edition sold in the front of Barnes & Noble next to similar collections for H.G. Wells and Jules Verne.

So, yeah, not really in our remit.

HPL absolutely doesn't need a PS book, but there are some neglected Mythos Circle Gentlemen who do!

While the Hounds have seen their signature story published in several small press books lately (as in, the last few years), there's still been no reprint of the classic, original collection The Hounds of Tindalos by F.B. Long...

Bob Price's newish collection, The Tindalos Cycle, collects some great Long fiction, but doesn't include any of the stories from the original THoT collection except the signature tale.

Plus, Eric, all Long's fiction is out-of-copyright...
