New Year's Resolutions for 2011

Gamer Life General Discussion

Every year people I know make New Year's Resolutions that last until sometime in February. I'm going to list a few that I'm going to try to stick with until at least May. How about you?

What resolutions are you making and how long do you expect them to last?

  • Review the more products - March (starting classes, less time).
  • Start and finish Insanity Workout/Diet - Lasts till March.
  • Learn a new language via Rosetta Stone - May :p

    EDIT: Bullet points and typo.

  • Grand Lodge

Stop doing business with companies outed by WikiLeaks.

Treat myself to a round of miniature golf to relieve stress.

Eat a very expensive meal once a month. Plus dessert!

Get my girlfriend a girlfriend. ;)

I promise to eat more, drink more, smoke more and get fat. And have sex with more dangerous women. Well, just one dangerous woman would be nice. Here's to the best New Year ever!

It's important to set realistic goals, eh?

I want to try and spend fifteen minutes a day meditating/deep breathing. I am constantly keeping my mind immersed in minutiae, work, friends, mssgeboards, family, phone, pet, games, vids, and books. I think a lil bit of quiet time every day will help keep me less tense. And fifteen minutes isn't really a horrible sacrifice towards well being. Who knows, maybe I will start looking forward to it.
